Social Action Please join us for a screening of "Fannie Lou Hamer's America" and a panel discussion. Panelists will be Democracy NC, Dr. Baiyina W. Muhammad, and Deandrea Newsome. Fundraising Committee is hosting the NCCU Fire and Desire Event, previously known as the annual NCCU Day Party.
The event details are the cost of the event is $25 prior to March 24 and $35 afterward.
The event will be held on Friday March 31 from 7pm to 12am at the House Restaurant 4310 S. Miami Blvd in Durham, NC. All proceeds will benefit Durham Alumnae NCCU Endowed Scholarship. Patrons must be 21 and up with ID check at the door to attend. Patrons can also make a donations to support this event. For additional questions contact

Please join the Social Action and Economic Development Committees for a panel discussion: Keep the Change: Closing the Wage Gap for Black Women. We'll be joined by: Claudia Miller, Career Coach & DEI Champion, Betty Marrow-Taylor, Chief Diversity Equity Inclusion Officer, NC Department of Commerce and, Lynn Holmes, Visiting Professor of the Practice in the Sanford School of Public Policy.
